Since I arrived in Tokyo on Sunday, the weather has slowly but perceptibly become wetter. From cloudy on Sunday, to sprinkles, to constant rain today. All of this is a preamble to the super typhoon landfall expected tomorrow morning:
Apparently, this will the first typhoon to hit Tokyo in two years. Given that I don't have to do any traveling tomorrow, I find this very exciting. The downside is that the party we had planned at work tomorrow may not happen since trains typically stop running during storms like this. I'm within walking distance of the office, so I could technically come on my own and drink on the balcony and watch the storm roll in:
