Last Wednesday was our company white elephant party organized by our tireless party organizer Kimmie. This was the first white elephant we've had since the year we moved up to San Francisco where a nameless executive stole a toy from a young child in exchange for her $20 charity donation. The child cried and cried.
There were no children and no tears this year I'm happy to say, but there were some executives who joined in the mix. Part of the fun we missed at our first white elephant were the challenges. When its your turn, you can either pick a gift or take someone else's gift. However, if you take someone else's gift you are required to best them in a challenge before you can get it. We had 8 challenges up on a challenge wheel, here are a few of them:
A pictionary challenge:
Can you guess this one? Number 1 was the winner in the state that you see it in now. Hint, its Christmas themed (Select text for answer => Silent Night). We had backwards chair race/joust:
A 30 second all-the-Christmas-songs-you-can-write-down race:
And the final two, well, nothing can really describe these better than animated GIFs. Here's Silbi and Kimmie attempting to follow a Richard Simmons work out video better than the other:
The final GIF is our fearless leader battling Kimmie in a neck to neck hula hoop off:
