Hula Hoop Retraction
So, if anyone ever heard me say that hula hooping was dumb ... I take it all back. I got the hang of hula hooping as an adult and learned a trick today, and it was a lot of fun!

Plumeria
I've been trying to grow a Plumeria for the past year, though bugs and a non-Hawaiian environment have conspired to allow only a sad Charlie Brown Christmas tree kind of plant. A few odd leaves an one little bunch of flowers.
One by one the flowers are starting to drop off after a short few days of blooming. However, they seem to let go in their prime, still full and fragrant. Here's the latest one, ready for my one flower lei:
