I have a guess, but can anyone definitively say what this equation represents?  Bonus points; without googling do you know where the title of this post comes from?

I googled this and the website says that its for truckers and long distance motorcyclers who need to reduce "frictional skin irritation."  So does this mean monkeys typically have very grippy butts?  Won't this powder make you fly off your seat as your butt becomes near frictionless?  Do these looks like soap bubble containers to anyone else?
